Hi U.S. Immigration Legal Advisors,

Let me first say thank you, thank you and thank you. Since you helped Dee get her K 1 visa she arrived with me in the United States on Oct. 26th, 2006. I had all the advice and documents you had given me for free and my company provided me with one of the top immigration law firms in San Francisco to assist me with getting Dee permanent residency. When I first met with the rep from this firm he asked for everything I already had and I provided him with more than he even knew about because of your help and advise. For example he completely did not believe me that the medical you had done in Thailand would be enough for the U.S. government.

I said “Just apply and send the chest x-rays, it will be fine.” He said, “Well when they contact you for a medical you will see what I am talking about.” We sent in all applications for work permit, travel voucher and permanent status (He didn’t even send the chest x-ray because he had no idea how to mail them to the appropriate department) on Jan 23rd. The next communications I received from Immigration was a few weeks later and consisted of approvals for everything and an appointment time for the final interview on April 12, 2007. By the end of April Dee had her green card and a social security card. The lawyer was astonished. He had taken care of hundreds of cases from various immigrations around the world. He commented, “I have applications pending for green cards from K1s’ that I sent in on June or July of 2006 and in April 2007 they still do not have interviews. Your Thai Lawyer knew his stuff.” I said, “Well, he’s actually an American who lives there and like I said he sent Dee to the best hospital in Bangkok which was certified to do the proper exams.” So guys, you rock and your staff was totally on it.

One note to anyone in this process. The drudgery of the paper work for the 2nd half after the K1 is worth having a lawyer. After going through the experience they knew more about how things would work in the U.S. than the guy here at a top firm. If I wouldn’t have gotten the U.S. lawyer for free, I would have been emailing U.S. Immigration Legal Advisors with my tail between my legs begging for help.

Thanks again Ryan and Staff!!
